Starting January 6th - 6:00AM, 12:00PM, or 8:30PM

Join us for 45-minute Zoom prayer meetings on the first Monday of each month in 2025.  We will pray together that, as Grace Church, we will live to make Jesus make sense by igniting a gospel-centered movement.

Pray for the next generation

Psalm 78:1-8

March 3rd

Acts 1:8 - Empowered by the Holy Spirit to be a witness for Jesus

Pray that the people of Grace Church would live in the reality of the empowering presence of God, through the Holy Spirit, to go into all the world with the good news of the gospel.

Acts 1:4-9

4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

6 Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”

He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

Revelation 2 & 3 - Pray for steadfast faithfulness to the gospel

Pray that Grace Church would remain faithful, would have ears to hear, and would overcome, that we may walk in the light of the gospel and share in the promise of Jesus’ kingdom.

Ephesians 2:1-7

“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write:

These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands. I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

May 5th

2 Timothy 2:1-6 - Pray for disciple-makers who make disciples

2 Timothy 2:1-6

1 You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. 3 Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer. 5 Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor’s crown except by competing according to the rules. 6 The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. 7 Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.
